Kabhi-Kabhi Aditi.....my latest favourite .....i dont know how does A.R Rahman manages to bring out such BEAUTIFUL melodies??....and the voice....gawd..! i'll hug this guy if i meet him...what voice...! but the saddest part is i got only the intro of the song...but i still can't get enuf of the song..... it makes me crazy...and it feels mushy mushy....and a little mush is good for health... :D..(or i shud say for the heart...)

.....Had DELF exam today(Its a French language exam for proficiency certificate....)....the listening excercises were a little dicey...but the Oral exam was Awesome....! I was given a few words for which had to frame questions...it was great fun.... one word was "théatre"..(theater)...and i asked the professor..."vous allez au théatre avec moi aujourdhui...?"(Will you come with me to a theater today?) ...he smiled and said yes.....I indirectly asked him for a date...*laughs*

And well, the holidays are so long...I actually forgot I was part of some college..*laughs*...eey i miss college, i miss canteen , i miss bunking and the masti...i miss the whole package (a.k.a college..)

Young at heart...??

Ever wondered how unleashing the inner child within you can bring so much fun in your usually boring routine life? Yeah, so there's nothing bizarre if you are 26 and still hooked onto cartoon network (one of my family friend actually is..), or mimic your favourite shin Chan (that reminds of Manasa..lol..). You will observe how cartoons can refresh you like no other stuff on the idiot box(Trust me!)...!

Also, If you have your favourite dance number playing on the radio don't hesitate to shake a leg or two...(irrespective of whether your of my size or Kareena Kapoor's..)...and make sure its not a crazy dance or else the ground floor residents will show up the next day...(If you're living in the ground floor, you are lucky..!!)...do it even if your siblings and parents are looking at you...it will bring a smile on every body's face including you..(even if you are not the best dancer in the world..:D)..

OK, talking about love...well, being a girl i can assure you child like gestures are great turn on..girls find it really cute..! And if you have always been one of those "macho-serious" guy types...then your childlike gestures will surprise your beloved..(i can't guarantee pleasantly or unpleasantly..)

Such petite things can actually work wonders in adding that extra zing in life....After all we all have our share of problems in life but some moments remain with us forever....they'll never fail to make us laugh...

but but but...,

NOTE: Don't overdo your child like behaviour...and make yourself look like one of those just-out-of-the-asylum lunatics.Yeah! there is a wondeful word in English called MODERATION...

So, unleash the kid within and live life to the fullest....Have a happy life.. :)

Yes....!! there were so many questions i had about the Indian education system after my Biochemistry viva on 18th march...... the external examiner , a simple but learned lady professor took the viva worth only 5 marks for about half hour.... Though i could answer most of her questions ..(say 75% of them...) ...for the rest 25% i felt like a such a looser....I thought -was my 95 in biotech in 12th standard really the mark i deserved .?? was it all because of my memorising abilities.....?? I still feel ashamed about the way i performed in viva....whole heartedly.....

....the biggest problem in indian system of education is the value given to "memorising"....u're a GOD if u write line by line of whats there in the "holy" textbook....yes, we are not encouraged to question..... "why are fructose and glucose reducing sugars but sucrose is not...?"...... is what my biochem examiner asked and i gave her a complete blank look thinking..."why did i never think about this...??"...
most of my classmates found the viva difficult because our teachers' methodologies are absolutely different..... its so shameful....that marks are the first priority and basic knowledge is not....memory is temporary ..but knowledge is permanent...!! it makes so much difference...

PS: I dont really care if the system of indian education changes or not.... but my way of learning will definitely change...!!

The "V-DAY" sans a "V"

14th feb:

V-Day...the only day we wish we werent single... :)

..it was great fun....with my gurl gang obviously... :P...! we smashed black forest cake on each other...(the only thing left was the birthday song... hehe)... we were all in white and the whole college thought it was one crazy troop... :P... and the cake was yumm...!

15th feb:

today, our computer applications (we like callin it CAP) lecturer Sr. Sujata asked us our interpretations of LOVE...!

and i just said,"Love is more about YOU than ME".....i realli donno how...?

and another girl said,"Mam, love is that which is there between you and us" (girls behave soo well in front of the lecturer...hehe..)

....she read a cute article called "installing love"...and made a prayer for all of us...! twas reaal sweet...!

The biggest trouble with us is the hunger for balance...
balance in every walk of life....
sometimes it challenges the theory of "adjustment"...
because while we are looking for that perfectly balanced life...
we fail to convince ourselves to compromise....

I have a good set of friends in francis...i mean we are like this gang n all...and i thought they were pretty kool...but sometimes i think they have a different wavelength altogether... i appreciate that they are great on the academic front...(that is their "byheart" talent).. but i like people with a broader perspective for life.... ones who think like me... ones who are a good mix of extroverts and nerds....
....huh..! that'll make everything perfect...! nah..! look it from the other side.... god just wants me to taste all kinds... !
k... i need to break open myself... life's not about worrying about such petty things.... ! but you up there ... i assure that i'll achieve that balance one day... and you'll help me go 'bout it... done..

Expectations.... !
..ever wondered how directly or indirectly it deeply influences our lives..
..they exist in every relationship..

your parents ,your friends ,your teachers,your someone special,your siblings and you yourself .....
..thousands of expectations ....
and each time you fail to fulfill them...
things dont fall in place..

and each time you cross the borders of expectations
you are extraordinary ...!

think about it.... these things can sometimes lead you to what you wish to seek in life..
that special "something"...that "something" which makes it all complete.... !

yep it was the silver jublee celebrations of my school...and i must say it was extremely nostalgic...! i was really excited coz i saw my classmates after soo long ... but as usual they were "anjaan marofying"(behaving like strangers).. on the contrary my tenth batchmates were great fun...there was ram,anusha,snigdha,seema,venkat,raghav and a few more.. the programs were kinda dull but the best moment was obviously my award...(for your info it was for topping biotech in 12th boards..!) .. i felt awesome when we met Uma madam (our biotech teacher) and she was soo glad that she hugged us ... she was so good man..!


the whole of us sat in the last row and kept updating each other about the latest stuff happening in school... bah ! donno why venkat was being such a flirt..!(it kinda puts me off)...neway had great fun and an evening i will always count in the best moments of life...(only the award.. :D)

so here i am...back with a bang...fully charged up for this year...
its indeed a very happy new year..!!
I m really contented with life at this point...*touch wood*.. :)
the reasons
I m slowly picking up french...and i am so glad about it...i just love to learn the language..[thanx to vishnu mam]
I m single ...[it may sound silly...but i feel its a big reason for my happiness..]
I am surrounded by positive people...who dont allow me to feel low at any point..
I have gradually discovered the value of my parents...and i just want to say is that i love them more than anybody else...!
I love god for he makes every event [small or huge] so smooth...thank you
and finally I love my best friend apurva for being the greatest friend one can find and turning me into a truly opmistic human being..miss you yaar...!

ARTHASHASTRA

well..! Arthashastra's supposed to be the most lively inter-college fest hosted by St.Francis ...and indeed it was...! i never danced so madly before...(thanx to the DJ)... :D..!! here are the pics...and not to forget there were some marvellous eye candies... :P..!!

honestly it was a little weird to see guys in our college...!! :P

sometimes its very painful to see people's sufferings...."why should they suffer..?" I question myself..... even if they have done good all through their life......!

It sometimes forces me ponder upon the concept of previous births and sins related to them.....it may be the case that these things said by our ancestors had some substance in it......! but Gen-X needs logic to everything ....we wants to question every thing that we feel is out of our limits....! yes, there are certain things which cannot be answered on a scientific basis....

why do we forget that we humans who think ourselves as the most supreme race are created by that power.....that power which can be felt at almost every single breath we take...the power without who's consent nothing can happen in this universe......the power which will some how make you bow and make you feel humble.....we are almost negligible in front of his omniscience ....believe in that power and I think we can derive ample will power to cope with all the thorns he places on our way of life...

Life's continuously teaching new things....! helping me to clear out the fog between deep truth and falsity...clearing up some perceptions about people ,I always had about them....I think I m being very saddistic off late....I m only picking up the negative aura from people...making my mind a store house of evil thoughts....No No...this is not me....this is not who I m ...this is not the person i thought i would grow up like...
I need a positive aura...to cleanse my mind from this growing negativity...!

No you cannot grip me like this...I will strive hard and find my way...The lord is with me...he will help me finding my way towards a happy mind ,a happy life....!
